David takes overall responsibility for the day-to-day running of the Association, liaising with the National Committee, EU & UK Government bodies, CETS, the Environment Agency and the Health & Safety Executive. David has over 35 years experience in the surface engineering & manufacturing sectors and sits on many Government / Industry committees. He is a Chartered Environmentalist and a Fellow of the Institute of Materials, Minerals & Mining.
Diana Blair - Member Services Manager

Diana is responsible for membership recruitment and retention and organises and minutes meetings. She organises the Northern Finishers Group Meetings and the biennial Surface Engineering Gala Dinner & Awards. She is responsible for Standards, Price Watch and Business Trends updates and assists the Chief Executive in developing and executing marketing and development plans for the SEA. Diana has been with the Association since February 2000.
Nasima Khatun - Administrative Assistant

Nasima is the administrative assistant to Diana Blair. Currently Nasima is responsible for organising meetings, coordinating mail-outs and looks after general administrative duties. Nasima joined in 2006 and is currently working towards her NVQ in business administration.

Derek manages the Wolfson Heat Treatment Centre on behalf of the SEA and is also a metallurgical consultant.
