Chromium Trioxide REACH Authorization Consortium ‘CTAC'

Successful Kick-Off May 22, 2012 with 143 Members
Approved Short Opening Window for New Members

Brussels (May 23, 2012) -The Chromium Trioxide REACH Authorization Consortium, in short ‘CTAC', managed by McKenna Long & Aldridge LLP, held it's kick-off meeting on May 22, 2012 in Brussels, Belgium. 143 companies had previously confirmed their membership, completed the necessary formalities and were therefore invited to the kick-off meeting. Due to numerous requests received to re-open the CTAC to those that were previously not aware of its existence or did not manage to complete the necessary steps in time, the CTAC decided at the kick-off meeting to open another short window for new entrants until June 15, 2012.

Any companies involved with chromium trioxide potentially requiring EU REACH Authorization in the future (as soon as chromium trioxide would be listed on Annex XIV REACH) and interested in joining the CTAC to jointly develop the authorization dossier are therefore invited to contact Ursula Schliessner for further information on the joining formalities.
