Understanding Heat Treatment 2012


Wolfson Heat Treatment Centre’s annual training course, Understanding Heat Treatment, was held at the Jewellery Quarter Conference Centre in Federation House on 9-11th October. Despite the current economic climate, the course was virtually a sell-out as shown above, attracting 31 delegates including one from Germany and two from the Isle of Man. The delegates are shown below along with details of their various affiliations which included one supply company and a couple of engineering/manufacturing companies in addition to the normal commercial and in-house heat treaters.

The course, the aim of which is to convey a general appreciation of the metallurgical/technological background to industrial heat treatment processing and utilises the expertise of eight lecturers who are all either working in or associated with the heat treatment industry, is next planned for October 15 – 17, 2013.
