Understanding Heat Treatment Course October 2009

Wolfson's annual training course Understanding Heat Treatment, which was held at the Jewellery Quarter Conference Centre in Federation House on 20-22nd October, was once again deemed successful by manager Derek Close.  It was attended by twenty delegates, which is remarkable given the current economic climate that is particularly bad in the heat treatment industry.  The delegates, who were mainly from companies throughout the UK and Ireland but also included one from the USA, are shown in the images below along with their various affiliations.

Sadly Terry Atterbury (pictured below), who recently retired from TTI Group Ltd. announced that he is also retiring from lecturing on the course and that the lecture that he gave on Vacuum Heat Treatment would be his last.  Derek Close, on behalf of the Wolfson Heat Treatment Centre, would therefore like to thank Terry for the tremendous support he has given the Centre virtually from it's conception and wish him a long and happy retirement.
