The Surface Engineering Association Awards & Gala Dinner will be held on Friday 17th October 2025.
This biennial event is the premier social function in the surface engineering calendar and recognises the fantastic achievements made by the surface engineering and heat treatment sectors.
The Surface Engineering Awards is a high-profile flagship event, not only for the industry itself, but also for its customers and suppliers. It is a showcase event which is an opportunity for all those connected with the industry to inform the world about the vital role surface engineering plays in UK manufacturing.
Location
The event will be held at the Goldsmiths’ Hall in London.
“Goldsmiths’ Hall is the home of the Worshipful Company of Goldsmiths, one of the Twelve Great Livery Companies of the City of London, who have been headquartered on this site since 1339. Designed by Philip Hardwick, the current Hall is the third of its kind on this site and its grand rooms make the perfect backdrop for all kinds of events and occasions.”

Live entertainment will be provided on the night by Cadillac – one of London’s most exciting cover bands known for mixing songs in a slick DJ style, keeping it fresh and organic with live instruments. Their exciting performance ensures people dance to all their favourites whether they’re classics or today’s chart-toppers.
Host
After 27 years with the BBC and other lesser broadcasters, Jeremy Nicholas now works with companies and individuals to help them communicate more effectively. Jeremy runs Talking Toolbox Ltd in west London, teaching businesses how to engage their audiences using techniques from TV, radio and comedy. He works with international speakers to add humour to their talks.
