Business Description

Chemetall Ltd provides surface treatment technology to the aerospace, automotive, road, rail, cold forming, glass and pipe coating industries and is a subsidiary of Chemetall GmbH based in Germany. Chemetall's products are marketed chiefly under the well known GARDO, ARDROX, OXSILAN and SURFOS brand names. They include products for surface cleaning and preparation, conversion coatings for metal pre-treatment prior to painting and metal forming, and for surface lubrication and corrosion protection, consumables and equipment for NDT, aircraft sealants, corrosion preventatives, paint booth maintenance products and transport cleaning products. Chemetall Ltd is registered to ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015 and since December 2016 has been part of the Coatings Division of BASF.
